This research aims to determine the role of leadership style and work facilities in
efforts to increase employee job satisfaction at the BPK-RI North Sumatra
Representative office. The data collection technique in this research uses
qualitative methods derived from the results of interviews with employees of the HR
subsection of the BPK-RI Office representing North Sumatra, Medan City,
observing and distributing questionnaires to employees. The results of this research
show that the role of leadership style on employee satisfaction greatly influences
employee job satisfaction at the BPK-RI North Sumatra Representative office,
Medan City, HR Subdivision. The leadership style used uses a democratic
leadership style. In this case, it can be seen that leaders involve employees in the
decision-making process, respect opinions and encourage cooperation, creativity
and innovation. By having democratic leadership, it means that employees can
express appreciation, suggestions, and receive appreciation for their performance
and be recognized for their performance. This can lead to employee satisfaction.
The suggestion that can be conveyed in this research is that it is hoped that the
BPK-RI North Sumatra Representative Office can make improvements to facilities
and infrastructure as well as work facilities in the HR subsection in order to support
employee performance to be more productive and increase job satisfaction and
work results can be carried out more optimally for office employees. BPK-RI
