This study aims to determine the effect of health, per capita expenditure, population density, labor, communication expenditure, and inflation on poverty in 34 provinces in Indonesia. The method used in this study is dynamic panel data with the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM). The data used are secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Bank of Indonesia (BI). The independent variables used in this study are health, per capita expenditure, population density, labor force, communication expenditure and inflation while poverty is the dependent variable. The results of the study indicate that health variables, per capita expenditure, labor force, and communication expenditure have a negative and significant impact on poverty, while population density, inflation, and poverty lag have a positive and significant impact on poverty in Indonesia.
