Melati Market is one of the centers for selling secondhand clothing in Medan City, located in Tanjung Selamat Village. Traditional markets play an important role in building Indonesia's economy in terms of buying and selling transactions. This study aims to propose a sustainable revitalization design for Melati Market as part of efforts to improve the quality of traditional market environments in Indonesia. The research method used is a mixed method combining quantitative and qualitative approaches, with data collection through field observations and semi-structured interviews with architects and visitors to Melati Market. The findings of this study are that community needs include aspects of cleanliness, accessibility, comfort, safety, parking facilities, as well as the availability of green spaces and a good waste management system. The main challenges in market management include insufficient funding and maintenance issues. This study is expected to have implications for sustainable urban development in Indonesia.en_US
