The Effect Of Service Quality Of Kusuk Patah Kek Roso on Public Satisfaction in Traditional Bone Fracture Treatment Based On Local Wisdom in Paya Bujok Tunong Village, Langsa City
Abstract
Amid the rise of modern healthcare services, traditional medicine
remains favored by communities, especially in areas with strong cultural values.
One such treatment is Kusuk Patah Tulang Kek Roso in Paya Bujok Tunong
Village, Langsa City. It is believed to heal not only physically but also
psychologically and spiritually. This study aims to analyze the influence of service
quality on public satisfaction. A mixed methods approach with a sequential
explanatory design was used, beginning with a Likert-scale questionnaire
followed by in-depth interviews.
The population consisted of 150 service users, with 60 respondents
selected using the Slovin formula. Service quality indicators refer to Tjiptono
(2017), and satisfaction indicators refer to Pohan (2012). Results show service
quality is in the high category (average 3.84) and has a positive and significant
effect on satisfaction (average 3.92), with a t-count of 8.785 > t-table 2.001 and
significance of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination was 56.4%.
Interview findings support the quantitative results, highlighting the value
of empathy, traditional advice, and hereditary herbal oils. The study concludes
that traditional service rooted in local wisdom can provide high satisfaction, and
thus deserves government recognition and support to ensure safety, legality, and
cultural preservation.
