Pengaruh Penerapan Otonomi Desa terhadap Partisipasi Masyarakat dalam Pembangunan Infrastruktur di Desa Perdamaian Kecamatan Binjai
The Influence Of Village Autonomy Implementation on Community Participation in Infrastructure Development in Perdamaian Village, Binjai Subdistrict
Abstract
The implementation of village autonomy grants authority to village governments to independently manage governmental affairs and development, including infrastructure development. However, community involvement in these processes has not been fully optimal. It is suspected that this is due to the village government being less active in encouraging the community to participate, both in the planning and implementation of infrastructure development. This study aims to determine the influence of village autonomy implementation on community participation in infrastructure development in Perdamaian Village, Binjai Subdistrict, Langkat Regency.
This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach. A sample of 154 people was selected from a total population of 8,886 using simple random sampling. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression, t-test, and the coefficient of determination with the assistance of SPSS version 26.
The results show a positive and significant influence between village autonomy and community participation. The t-count value of 15.228 is greater than the t-table value of 1.976, with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. The regression equation Y = 8.269 + 0.758X indicates that each one-unit increase in village autonomy increases community participation by 0.758. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.601 shows that 60.1% of community participation is influenced by the implementation of village autonomy, while the remaining 39.9% is influenced by other factors outside this study.
