Perancangan Sistem Informasi Puskesmas Berbasis Web untuk Efisiensi Layanan di Puskesmas Buhit
Design of a Web-Based Health Center Information System to Improve Service Efficiency at Puskesmas Buhit
Abstract
Community health centers (Puskesmas) serve as the primary healthcare
facilities that play a vital role in delivering basic health services to the public.
However, many Puskesmas still rely on manual systems for data management and
administrative tasks, which often lead to service delays, inefficiencies, and potential
errors. This study aims to design and develop a web-based information system to
improve the efficiency and accuracy of healthcare service management at
Puskesmas Buhit. The system was developed using the waterfall methodology,
which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and
evaluation. Key features of the system include patient registration, electronic
medical record management, drug inventory management, laboratory data
processing, and automated health reporting. The system utilizes technologies such
as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL, with a user-friendly interface
designed to support ease of use for healthcare personnel.
Testing results show that the developed system can streamline administrative
processes, enhance data accuracy, and facilitate easier access to information. The
implementation of this system is expected to optimize operational efficiency at
Puskesmas Buhit and serve as a reference for similar applications in other health
centers.
