    Abstract
The Arboretum of the Universitas Sumatera Utara has various collections of trees. Kedondong Hutan, Ketapang and Jabon are trees with large populations in the arboretum. This study aims to identify the types and potential of phosphatesolubilizing fungi in Kedondong Hutan (Spondias pinnata), Ketapang (Terminalia catappa) and Jabon (Neolamarckia cadamba) stands. Sampling was carried out by estabilishing 3 plots on each type of plant measuring 20 x 20 m and a soil depth of 0-20 cm. Each plot was taken at 5 points. The soil taken from each type of plant was then composited. Soil chemical analysis including soil pH, C-organic, Pavailable and Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) was carried out on the soil samples obtained. Isolation of phosphate-solubilizing fungi was carried out using Pikovskaya media. Based on the isolation results, 36 isolates were obtained. There is 1 genus of fungi found under Kedondong Hutan and Ketapang, namely Aspegillus, while there are 2 Genus found under Jabon, namely Aspergillus and Penicillium. Fungi from Aspergillus sp. 1 and Aspergillus sp. 2 have the potential to dissolve phosphate in phosphate sources Ca3(PO4)2 and AlPO4, while Penicillium fungi only have the ability to dissolve phosphate in Ca3(PO4)2 sources.
