Pengaruh NaOCl 2,5% dengan Irigasi Akhir Nanokitosan Oligosakarida 2% dan EDTA17% terhadap Kebocoran MTA dan RMGIC sebagai Bahan Orifice Barrier Pada Gigi Pasca Perawatan Endodontik: Analisis Celah Mikro melalui Stereomikroskop dan SEM (In Vitro)
The Effect of 2,5% NaOCl with 2% Nano Chitosan Oligosaccharide and 17% EDTA as Final Irrigation on MTA and RMGIC Leakage as Orifice Barrier Materials in Post-Endodontic Treatment Teeth: Microgap Analysis using a Stereomicroscope and SEM (In Vitro)
Abstract
Currently, nano chitosan oligosaccharide has been developed as a final irrigation material, but their effect on orifice barrier leakage is still unkwon. This study aims to see the effect of the combination 2,5% NaOCl + 2% nano chitosan oligosaccharide and 2,5% NaOCl + 17% EDTA on microleakage of MTA and RMGIC as orifice barrier materials. A total of 24 extracted mandibular premolars were prepared and obturated using warm vertical compaction technique. Gutta percha was removed vertically to a depth of 2 mm. The tooth samples were divided into four groups: the 2,5% NaOCl + 2% nanokitosan oligosakarida irrigation group with MTA and RMGIC orifice barrier materials, and the 2,5% NaOCl + 17% EDTA irrigation group with MTA and RMGIC orifice barrier materials. After thermocycling procedure, the crown were cut, the sample was coated wax and nail varnish, soaked in 0,5% Basic fuchsin solution for 24 hour, and then split in the bucco-lingual direction. The penetration of the dye was measured using stereomicroscope and scored 0-4. The observation of microleakage showed the mean value and standard devitiation of group I (1±1,549), group II (3,83±0,408), group III (1,50±1,761), and group IV (3,83±0,408). The Kruskal Wallis test showed a significant difference between the four treatment groups (p=0,005). The combination of 2,5% NaOCl + 2% nanokitosan oligosakarida with MTA resulted in the lowest microleakage.
