Automatic shoe dryer integrated with radio frequency identification (RFID) payment system using DHT22 sensor and ultraviolet-C light
Abstract
An Automatic Shoe Dryer Integrated with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Payment System with DHT22 Sensor and Ultra Violet-C Rays has been designed. In this study, shoes that are wet due to rain or outdoor activities often cause discomfort and can become a nest for bacteria and fungi if not dried immediately. This study aims to design and implement an automatic shoe dryer that is not only effective in the drying process, but also modern in its transaction system. This tool uses a DHT22 sensor and ultraviolet-C (UV-C) rays, and is equipped with an RFID-based payment system that allows transactions to be made with a single tap worth IDR 10,000. The test results show that this tool is able to significantly reduce shoe humidity within 1 hour 30 minutes with low energy consumption. The RFID payment system also works well and provides ease of use. This tool can be a practical and modern solution for shoe drying needs in public areas such as campuses, mosques, or workplaces.
