Pra Rancangan Pabrik Minyak Goreng Dari CPO Melalui Proses Physical Refining Dan Dry Fractination Dengan Kapasitas Produksi 13.000 Ton/Tahun Dengan Tugas Khusus Rancangan Detail Tangki Degumming
Preliminary Design of a Cooking Oil Plant from Crude Palm Oil (CPO) Through Physical Refining and Dry Fractination Process with a Production Capacity of 13.000 Tons/Year, with a Special Task on the Detailed Engineering Design of the Degumming Tank
Abstract
Crude Palm Oil (CPO) is the main product of the palm oil industry, which has experienced a significant surge in production and holds great potential to become a leading export commodity. CPO is used as the primary raw material in the production of palm cooking oil. This derivative product, known as palm cooking oil (olein), has several advantages compared to other vegetable oils. Therefore, the increase in CPO production capacity must be accompanied by the development of downstream industries, particularly in enhancing the production of palm cooking oil in Indonesia.
The planned palm cooking oil factory will have a production capacity of 13,000 tons per year, operating for 330 days annually. The plant will require 137 employees and will operate under a Limited Liability Company (PT) structure, using a line-and-staff organizational system. The factory is planned to be built in Secanggang District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province, with a total area of 11,035 m².
The economic analysis of this preliminary design for the palm cooking oil plant from CPO as raw material is as follows:
Capital Investment (CI): Rp 421,023,339,036 Total Cost (TC): Rp 282,175,038,391 Sales Revenue: Rp 389,578,758,000 Net Profit: Rp 74,861,690,708 Profit Margin (PM): 27.43% Break Even Point (BEP): 21.18% Return on Investment (ROI): 17.78% Return on Net Worth (RON): 29.63% Pay Out Time (POT): 6 years Internal Rate of Return (IRR): 22.35% Based on the economic analysis, it can be concluded that the palm cooking oil factory using CPO as raw material is feasible to be established
