Produktivitas dan Biaya Pengangkutan Kayu Menggunakan Dua Jenis Truk di PT. Toba Pulp Lestari, Tbk, Sektor Habinsaran, Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Transportation activities involve moving wood from the wood collection site in the forest landing to the wood storage site logyard or to the factory. Transportation activities play a very important role as they can affect the quality of the previous harvest. This study aims to analyze the wood transportation productivity and operational costs of wood transportation using both types of trucks at PT. Toba Pulp Lestari, Tbk Habinsaran Sector. The research method includes primary data collection through direct observation and secondary data from the company. Transportation activities include several work elements such as empty travel, loading, transporting, and unloading. The results show that the average productivity of the Mitsubishi Canter FE SHDX truck is 0.82 m³/hour, while the Isuzu ELF NMR HD 6.5 truck has a productivity of 0.74 m³/hour. The average load volume of the Mitsubishi Canter FE SHDX truck reaches 9.56 m³, while the Isuzu ELF NMR HD 6.5 truck has 8.55 m³/hour. The cost of wood transportation using the Mitsubishi Canter FE SHDX truck is IDR 76,528.6 per m³, while the Isuzu ELF NMR HD 6.5 truck costs IDR 78.990,2 per m³. This study provides information on operational efficiency and cost management of wood transportation, as well as recommendations for optimizing truck usage based on field conditions
