Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) such as bakeries, often face inventory
management challenges due to the perishable nature of raw materials, especially when
still relying on manual methods like spreadsheets. Delays in data updates and
inconsistencies across branches frequently lead to overstocking or stockouts. This study
aims to design a web-based inventory management system to improve efficiency and
accuracy in inventory control at Angliss Bakehouse. The development method used is
the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the waterfall model, including stages
of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The system is
equipped with real-time stock monitoring, demand forecasting using Simple Moving
Average, Weighted Moving Average, and Reorder Point calculations, as well as
automated reporting features. The implementation results show that the system reduces
recording errors, speeds up inventory monitoring, and supports more accurate, data
driven decision-making.Therefore, this system not only addresses operational issues at
Angliss Bakehouse but also offers a scalable digital solution for similar MSMEs.
