dc.description.abstract | Glutinous rice is a commodity that is processed into various traditional foods, one of which is rengginang. Although Talawi District is not a glutinous rice production center, the community utilizes economic opportunities through rengginang processing to increase the added value of agricultural products. This study aims to analyze the added value, business feasibility, and determine strategies to improve the glutinous rice-based rengginang business in Pahang Village, Talawi District, Batu Bara Regency, using the Hayami method for added value, as well as Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C), Break Even Point (BEP), and SWOT analysis for business feasibility and strategy. Data were obtained through interviews and questionnaires to four business owners. The results showed an added value of Rp8.678,57/kg with a ratio of 26% (medium category), and an R/C of 1.28, indicating that the business is profitable and worth developing. The glutinous rice rengginang business in Pahang Village contributes significantly to the local economy and has bright prospects, with a strategic position in the aggressive
