This study aims to examine the relationship between gratitude and psychological well-being among elementary school teachers teaching in the disaster-affected area of Mount Sinabung. The study involved 40 elementary school teachers selected through total sampling from four schools located in the red zone of the disaster area in Payung, Karo, North Sumatra. The instruments used were a modified version of the Gratitude Questionnaire Six-Item Form (GQ-6) and a modified version of Ryff’s Psychological Well-Being Scale. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation with the help of SPSS. The results showed a significant correlation between gratitude and psychological well-being, with a correlation coefficient (r) = .557 and p < .001 (< 0.05). The coefficient of determination (r 2 ) = .031 indicates that gratitude accounts for 31% of the variation in psychological well-being.en_US
