The development of digital financial technology, particularly digital wallets (e-wallets), has influenced consumer behavior, especially among university students. This study aims to analyze the impact of ShopeePay usage on the consumptive behavior of students in the D4 Banking and Finance Program at the Vocational Faculty, Universitas Sumatera Utara. A quantitative approach with a descriptive-associative method was employed. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 69 respondents selected using the Slovin formula. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression with SPSS version 27. The results reveal that ShopeePay usage significantly affects students' consumptive behavior, indicated by a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05) and a t-count of -4.849, which exceeds the critical value. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.260, indicating that 26% of the variation in consumptive behavior is explained by ShopeePay usage, while the remaining 74% is influenced by other factors. These findings suggest that ShopeePay's ease of access, promotional offers, cashback, and digital features encourage impulsive buying and increased spending among students. This research contributes to the understanding of financial behavior in the digital age and provides insights for educational institutions and digital wallet providers to promote more responsible financial habits.
