This study aims to analyze the value added from the processing of soybeans into tempeh and to assess the feasibility of the business in Kecamatan Deli Tua. The research location was determined purposively, with a sample of two tempeh producers selected by using a saturated sampling technique. The analytical methods used include the calculation of value added based on the Hayami Method and business feasibility analysis by using the R/C ratio. The results show that the value added from the tempeh home industry reaches IDR 9,402.15/kg, with a value-added ratio is 44.38%. The monthly income from the tempeh business is recorded at IDR 4,418,427. An R/C ratio of 1,57 > 1, indicates that the tempeh home industry is feasible to be operated.en_US
