Peran Grit terhadap Burnout pada Guru Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) di Kota Gunungsitoli

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of grit in relation to burnout among special education teachers in Gunungsitoli City. A quantitative approach was employed, using simple linear regression analysis. The population consisted of all special education teachers in Gunungsitoli, with a total sample of 34 participants. The instruments used included the Teacher Grit Scale (TGS) developed by Rola et al. (2024) and the Burnout Scale by Rachman (2015), which was based on the Maslach Burnout Inventory (Maslach, 1991). The data analysis revealed a regression coefficient of -1.181, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.569. The findings indicate that grit has a negative role in predicting burnout among special education teachers in Gunungsitoli, accounting for 56.9% of the variance.
