dc.description.abstractPrevention of the risk of accidents and occupational diseases is the main target in implementing a construction safety management system on a project. Each project must implement a construction safety management system in accordance with the regulation of the Minister of PUPR number 14 of 2021 concerning the construction safety management system, but not all projects implement a safety management system as a whole, such as several projects with a small project value scale. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of the construction safety management system and what variables affect the revitalization project of the Merdeka Square area in Medan City. The research method used is field observation, data analysis and using multiple linear regression analysis using questionnaire data filled out by 12 respondents. The respondents contain 5 independent variables and 1 dependent variable, each variable contains 3 statements. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis in the SPSS 2.6 application show that the variables that influence the prevention of the risk of accidents and occupational diseases are the construction safety planning variable 0.448 (44.8%), and the construction safety performance evaluation variable 0.431 (43.1%).en_US
