dc.description.abstract | This study aims to determine the effect of giving a combination of GA3 and BAP to citrus seeds from Siboras Simalungun. This research was conducted at the Biotechnology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan with an altutide of ± 25 meters abovesea level from December to February 2025. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with 2 treatment factors and 3 replication. The first factor is the concentration of GA3 (G), namely G0 (0 ppm), G1 (0,5 ppm), dan G2 (1 ppm). The second factor is the concentration of BAP (B), namely B0 (0 ppm), B1 (1,5 ppm), dan B2 (2 ppm). The parameters observed in this study include the percentage of growning buds, number of shoots, days to shoot emergence, number of leaves, number of roots, root lenght, plant height, and stem diameter. The results showed that GA3 treatment negatively affected plant height and number of shoots, but had no effect on shoot emergence time, number of roots, root length, and stem diameter. BAP had a negative effect on the number of shoots, number of leaves, plant height, and root length, but had no effect on the number of shoots, number of roots, and stem diameter. In contrast, the interaction between GA3 and BAP treatments did not negatively affect the number of shoots, number of leaves, number of roots, root length, plant height, and stem diameter. | en_US |
