    Abstract
Uncontrolled electricity usage can lead to energy waste and increased household costs. The Internet of Things (IoT) technology offers a solution to manage power consumption more efficiently and flexibly through real-time monitoring and control of electrical loads. This study aims to design a monitoring, control, and automation system for electrical loads based on IoT using Arduino Uno, the PZEM-004T sensor, ESP8266 module, and the Telegram application as the user interface. The system also integrates a light sensor (LDR) and a temperature sensor (DHT11) to support load automation. The system development employs a prototyping approach for hardware and the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method for software. Testing was carried out on the power monitoring feature, manual control via Telegram, and load automation based on ambient light and temperature conditions. The results show that the system can display electrical parameters (voltage, current, power, and energy) in real time and is capable of controlling loads both manually and automatically. The system also provides an estimated electricity cost. The average system response time to load control commands is 4.37 seconds. The system was successfully implemented and operates stably in monitoring, controlling, and automating electrical loads, providing convenience and energy efficiency for users.
