Analisis Penggunaan E-Arsip Terhadap Efisiensi Kerja Di Biro Umum Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the utilization of the e-archive system in relation to work efficiency at the General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of North Sumatra Province. The data collection technique employed in this research is a qualitative method, based on interviews with staff members of the Administration Subdivision, specifically in the correspondence and archiving section. The results of the study indicate that the use of the e-archive system has a significant impact on work efficiency within the aforementioned unit. The discussion covers the role of the e-archive system in reducing manual workloads and facilitating faster access to information. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, focusing on the experiences of employees who utilize the e-archive system. The findings reveal that the implementation of e-archiving has significantly streamlined workflows, increased the volume of processed documents, and minimized errors in archiving. The study recommends continuous training and enhanced data security measures as strategies to further optimize the use of the e-archive system within the organization.
