dc.description.abstractUtilization of shellfish waste (Biowaste) as a source of calcium in Carbonate Hydroxyapatite (CHA) Scaffolds that can provide an alternative in environmentally friendly bone tissue engineering. This study aims to make CHA Scaffolds from blood clam shells (anadara granosa) and to analyze CHA contained in blood clam shells (anadara granosa) using SEM-EDX, XRD and FTIR. Blood clam shells that have become CaO are then synthesized into CHA through the wet method. And scaffold fabrication is carried out using the leaching method with the addition of porogen solutions such as Chitosan, PVA, HCB, Propolis to produce a porous structure suitable for biomaterials. Material characterization is carried out using SEM-EDX which produces a solid and complex surface morphology with a molar ratio close to the original bone, namely 1.68. XRD to ensure the crystallinity structure, and is produced at a peak of 2θ around 32.38°. FTIR, namely there are around 3300 cm⁻¹ –OH groups, in the area of 2900 cm⁻¹ C-H group stretching, and at 1700 cm⁻¹ carbonyl absorption (C=O). The results of the analysis show that the scaffold from the blood cockle shell is in accordance with SNI no. 8616:2019 concerning bone tissue engineering.en_US
