This study aims to analyze the relationship between family support and self-regulated learning among students at SMP Negeri 2 Kota Tanjung Balai. This study is based on the importance of family support in helping students develop the ability to regulate their own learning processes, especially at the junior high school level, which faces a transition from structured learning to independent learning. The sample in this study consisted of 197 students selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert scale to measure family support and self-regulated learning, then analyzed using Pearson's correlation test. The results of the study indicate a significant relationship between family support and self-regulated learning (r = 0.612; p < 0.001), with the majority of students exhibiting high levels of family support (63%) and self-regulated learning at the moderate level (53.3%). These findings reinforce the importance of family support in enhancing students' ability to engage in self-regulated learning.en_US
