dc.description.abstract | Economic imbalances in recent years have made it difficult for small-scale business actors to grow and sustain their operations. To address this challenge, the government introduced the People's Business Credit (KUR) program as a form of financial support for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), enabling easier access to capital. PT. BPR Pijer Podi Kekelengen, Simpang Selayang Branch, is one of the institutions distributing KUR, offering a fixed interest rate of 9% per year. Although this rate is relatively high compared to other banks, the institution remains favored due to its reputation for providing quality service to customers. This study aims to examine the influence of interest rates and service quality on customers' decisions to apply for credit. A quantitative approach was used, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 78 respondents of PT. BPR Pijer Podi Kekelengen. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and processed with SPSS version 26. The results indicate that both interest rates and service quality have a positive influence on customers' credit decisions. A fixed interest rate provides certainty in planning loan installments, while friendly and responsive service builds customer trust. In conclusion, both variables play an important role in influencing KUR application decisions, with interest rates emerging as the statistically dominant factor, while service quality remains a supporting element that contributes to customer comfort and loyalty. | en_US |
