The Influence of Servant Leadership and Career Growth on Quality of Work Life in Generation Z Employees
Abstract
Quality of work life is an important concern for companies in creating a work environment that supports employee welfare and productivity, especially for generation Z who have different work preferences and characteristics compared to previous generations. This study examines the effects of servant leadership and career growth on quality of work life in generation Z employees. This study used explanatory quantitative research involving 385 generation Z employees who work in service sector companies using the purposive sampling method. Data collection technique were conducted using a google form questionnaire. The analysis technique used in this study was multiple regression analysis. Based on the statistical test conducted, (R = 0.895; R Square = 0.801; F = 768.280; p = 0.000) indicated that servant leadership and career growth was found to have a positive and significant effect on quality of work life in generation Z employees. These finding suggest that companies can improve quality of work life in generation Z employees by reinforcing servant leadership and investing in career growth opportunities.
