Penerapan Metode Regresi Logistik Biner untuk Analisis Faktor Penyebab Kematian Pasien Gagal Jantung
Abstract
Background: Heart failure is a condition where the heart is unable to pump blood
effectively throughout the body. This condition can cause serious complications,
including death, so it is important to know the factors that influence death in heart
failure patients.
Objective: This study aims to identify factors that influence death in heart failure
patients.
Method: This study used a binary logistic regression method. The analysis was
carried out simultaneously using the G test to assess the model fit and partially
using the Wald test to test the significance of each parameter. In addition,
descriptive analysis was also carried out on the data. The data used were secondary
data with a total of 299 patients.
Results: Of the 299 patients, 203 patients did not die and 96 patients died. Based
on the results of the analysis, the logistic regression model was obtained:
ln[π(x)/(1-π(x) )]=8,528-0,069X1+0,016X2-0,301X3+0,31X4+0,056X5-0,064X6-0,076X7
With a statistical value of G test of 56,158. The results of the Wald test showed that
the variables of age, ejection fraction, and serum sodium significantly influenced
mortality in heart failure patients.
Conclusion: Age, ejection fraction, and serum sodium levels are factors that
significantly influence the risk of death in heart failure patients
