Perancangan Website Pelayanan Laboratorium Rumah Sakit Putri Hijau untuk Mendukung Penyampaian Informasi Secara Digital
Designing A Laboratory Service Website to Enhance Digital Information Delivery at Putri Hijau Hospital
Abstract
Background: Digital transformation in healthcare services has not fully extended to the laboratory information aspect, particularly in terms of user-friendly and easily understood delivery. In many hospitals, including Putri Hijau Hospital, laboratory information still relies on conventional media that are not adaptive to patient needs, especially for the elderly.
Objective: This study aims to design a laboratory service information website based on User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) principles to address the limitations in current information delivery.
Method: The method used is the Design Thinking approach, conducted iteratively with a focus on simplicity of navigation, visual presentation, and accessibility. UX Heuristics and Cognitive Load Theory were used to guide the design in minimizing users' cognitive load.
Results: The final result is a static website that is informative, inclusive, and easy to manage by the hospital’s internal staff.
Conclusion: This study demonstrates that combining human-centered and context-based design approaches can be an effective strategy in digitalizing laboratory information services.
