Responsibility is a form of accountability given by a government figure or
bureaucrat who shows professionalism and achievements that have been achieved
in providing public services, and is able to work in accordance with applicable
regulations. Waste management is a local issue with global implications because
the world's population continues to grow, as does the amount of waste produced.
Environmental problems that occur quite often in the regions in general are the
problems of waste generated around the environment or waste generated by daily
activities, this is very important so that it becomes the attention of the local
government that handles it, because this waste problem is considered quite serious.
In this study the authors used a Qualitative method with a Descriptive
approach. data collection technique is the process of extracting information carried
out by researchers in depth by utilizing relevant instruments, such as interview
guidelines, notes, field or documentation.
The results of this study indicate that waste management carried out
by the social environment service to the sei rampah sub-district is less efficient
because from what researchers see there are no different efforts made by the social
environment service in handling waste in the community, it is almost the same as
the previous leadership. there is no really serious effort in waste management itself,
especially in the direct field process. the commitment made by the environmental
service in waste management about the efforts and designs made, especially in
waste management. Human resource management is the initial stage that is really
done so that the goals of an organization can be achieved, the problem is that in the
environmental service there is no serious effort in managing human resources.
