Background. Pulmonary Tuberculosis (TB) remains a major global health issue, primarily affecting the lungs. Various factors influence treatment success. This study aimed to analyze factors affecting the success of pulmonary TB treatment at Stabat Health Center, Langkat District. Method. This observational analytic study used a cross-sectional design from October 2024 to January 2025. All pulmonary TB patients diagnosed in 2022–2023 were included through total sampling based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were obtained from the Tuberculosis Information System and analyzed using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate with SPSS. Result. Comorbid diabetes mellitus (DM) (p=0.003; OR=7.01) and distance to the health center (p=0.022; OR=4.44) were significantly associated with treatment success. Other factors such as age, sex, occupation, HIV status, and treatment status showed no significant association. Conclusion. Comorbid DM had the dominant association on successful of pulmonary TB treatment. TB patients with these comorbidities need special attention. Education about the importance of completing TB treatment should be strengthened through collaboration between healthcare providers and local government.
