Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk K dan Frekuensi Pembumbunan Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Kacang Tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.)
Effect of K Fertilizer Application and Mounding Frequency on the Growth and Production of Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.)
Abstract
Peanuts (Arachis hypogaea L.) are a food crop with high economic value because
of their high protein and fat content. The development of peanut production in
Indonesia is very unstable. For this reason, efforts are needed to increase peanut
production through the provision of K fertilizer and hilling. The aim of the research
is to determine the growth and yield of peanuts by applying potassium fertilizer (50,
100 and 150 kg/ha) and the frequency of hilling. The research was carried out in
Beringin, Tapian Dolok sub-district, Simalungun district in September – November
2022 using a Factorial Randomized Block Design with two factors. The results
showed that applying 150 kg/ha of potassium fertilizer was able to increase the
number of leaves, flowering age, number of filled pods, pod weight per plant, seed
weight per plant and weight of 100 seeds. Twice mulching treatment was able to
increase the growth of the number of leaves, number of gynophores, number of pods
per sample, number of filled pods and pod weight per plant as well as the
interaction of K fertilizer by 150 kg/ha and the frequency of mulching twice had a
significant effect in increasing the number of leaves and seed weight. per plant.
