The foundation serves to transfer the load from the upper building to the soil layer below. The foundation must be able to carry every working load up to the specified safety limit. Therefore, an in-depth analysis of the bearing capacity and settlement of the foundation is needed in order to know whether the foundation is able to carry the working load or not. Through SPT data obtained at the Herbal and Horticultural Technology Science Park Phase II (Pollung) Construction Project, the axial bearing capacity, lateral bearing capacity and elastic settlement of the pile foundation will be sought using the analytical method and the finite element method using the PLAXIS V.8.6 program. The research results of the ultimate axial bearing capacity of piles in bore hole 06 based on SPT data with Meyerhof method is 48.67 tons, while with PLAXIS V.8.6 program obtained 69.175 tons. The lateral ultimate bearing capacity by Broms method analytically is 6.56 Tons and graphically is 7.9 Tons. The elastic settlement of single pile was obtained as 45 mm, with Poulos and Davis (end bearing) method as 52,459 mm, while with PLAXIS V.8.6 Program as 367 mm.en_US
