Copper is known as an excellent electrical conductor and is widely used in various electronic applications. In this study, a digital conductivity meter based on the ESP32 was designed and tested, focusing on the use of copper plates as electrodes in a 4-probe resistive sensor configuration. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of copper plates in conducting electric current in solutions and to assess the accuracy of the conductivity measurements compared to other electrode materials. A PTC temperature sensor was also employed for automatic temperature compensation, as the conductivity of a solution is highly influenced by temperature. The device was designed to display data digitally through an OLED screen and can be further developed for wireless data transmission. Test results showed that copper plates can serve as alternative conductivity electrodes, providing relatively stable results and a fast response, although protection against corrosion is necessary for long-term use.en_US
