Inovasi Charging Controller Dengan Metode Hybrid Plts dan PLN Menggunakan Coin Acceptor Sebagai Metode Pembayaran Berbasis Internet of Things
Innovation of a Charging Controller With a Hybrid Solar (PLTS) and Grid (PLN) System Using a Coin Acceptor as a Payment Method Based on the Internet of Things
Abstract
A charging controller innovation has been successfully designed with a hybrid PLTS
and PLN method using a coin acceptor as an internet of things (IoT)-based payment
method. This study aims to develop a charging controller innovation with a hybrid
PLTS and PLN method, as well as the integration of a coin acceptor as an IoT-based
payment method. This tool creates a system that is efficient, easily accessible, and
supports the use of renewable energy. The system is designed using NodeMCU
ESP32, LCD I2C 20X4, coin acceptor, PZEM-004T sensor, relay, 12 V adapter, and
solar panel. Testing shows that the 12 V adapter functions stably with a deviation
of only 0.4%. The coin acceptor successfully detects Rp1,000 coins with an accuracy
level of 100%. The solar panel produces an average voltage of 17.24V, a current of
0.00081A, and a power of 0.01445W. Overall system testing shows that for Rp1,000,
consumers get 100 kWh, and the system can measure the power consumption of
connected devices. The study lamp has the lowest power consumption of 0.8W, while
charging cellphones and laptops has the highest power consumption of 49.4W.
