Tomatoes are vegetable plants that are very sensitive to water shortages. Lack of water availability during the growth and development phase of plants will cause stress (stress) so that it is necessary to calculate the volume and distance of watering on tomato plants. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the time interval of watering on alluvial soil, the time of watering on alluvial soil on the growth of tomato plants (Solanum lycopercium L Var. Servo). This study used a non-factorial completely randomized design with 3 treatments, namely treatment one, watering every day, treatment two, watering every three days, and treatment three, watering every five days and each treatment was repeated 6 times. The results of the study obtained were alluvial soil texture, namely sandy clay loam; organic c content of 2.01% and organic matter 3.47%; the average value of soil mass density is 0.96 g / cm3; the average value of soil particle density is 2.29 g / cm3; the average value of porosity is 58.4%; the total weight of fruit produced from treatment every day was 409.25 grams; once every three days is 215.76 grams; and once every five days is 106.22 grams; and the highest number of fruit per plant was found when water was given every day.en_US
