    Abstract
    Washing and drying clothes are basic needs in everyday life. However, in unpredictable weather conditions, such as the rainy season or areas with low sunlight intensity, the clothes drying process often experiences obstacles. Clothes drying facilities such as dryers are still relatively expensive and have not reached all levels of society, especially students, contract workers, or urban communities who live in rented houses or boarding houses. This problem prompted the design of an automatic clothes drying cabinet based on the Internet of Things (IoT) that can be operated with a payment system using a coin acceptor. This tool uses an ESP32 microcontroller as a control center, a temperature sensor to monitor conditions in the cabinet, and a Blynk application to display information on the number of coins entered. Testing of the system showed that the system performance was quite good and effective in carrying out its functions. The system was able to work stably during testing, such as the coin acceptor was able to recognize and verify coins accurately, the DHT22 sensor was quite good at detecting temperature and humidity in the drying cabinet and the drying process could be carried out according to the desired settings. This shows reliability during testing, which is also reinforced by the results of the calculation of the percentage deviation between the DHT22 sensor and the digital thermometer.
