Pengaruh Kinerja Keuangan terhadap Pertumbuhan Laba pada Perusahaan Sub Sektor Makanan dan Minuman di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2019-2023

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial performance on profit growth in food and beverage sub-sector companies on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the period 2019-2023. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative research type. The data used are secondary data obtained from the company's annual financial reports. The population in this study consisted of 24 companies, and based on the sampling criteria, the sample in this study became 10 companies selected based on certain criteria. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the panel data method and analyzed with the help of EViews. The results of this study partially show that the Current Ratio variable has a negative and insignificant effect on profit growth, Debt to Equity Ratio has a positive and significant effect on profit growth, Total Asset Turnover has a negative and insignificant effect on profit growth, and Return On Asset has a positive and significant effect on profit growth.
