dc.description.abstractMuslimah have aurat restrictions that should not be seen by men so they need a place that has high privacy and a place specifically for women to do self-care and also health such as sports to comply with sharia. So the design of the Muslimah Center with an Islamic architectural approach is a solution, to provide facilities that are private so that Muslim women can do activities comfortably and safely without the man. This research aims to explore the principles of Islamic architecture in the design of Muslimah center to create a private and comfortable space for women. Data collection is done through literature study of examples of buildings that apply Islamic architecture and also through verses of the Qur'an and hadith in designing. The results of this study show that the principles of Islamic architecture Hablumminannallah by creating a natural atmosphere such as the description of heaven according to the Qur'an and Hadith aims to make users always remember Allah, Habluminannas by creating spaces or activities that can make humans interact with each other and the principle of preserving nature. The design of the Muslimah Center with an Islamic architectural approach is expected to be a facility so that Muslim women can do their activities safely and comfortably and in accordance with Islamic law.en_US
