Athlete Dormitory in Lubuk Pakam Using Green Architecture Approach

Abstract

The design of the Athlete Dormitory in Lubuk Pakam aims to support the development of athletes through the provision of healthy, comfortable, and functional residential facilities with a green architecture approach. This concept is applied by maximizing natural lighting and ventilation, using environmentally friendly materials, and arranging green open spaces that support physical activity and relaxation. With field observation methods, literature studies, and case study analysis, this dormitory design is designed not only to meet the needs of rest, but also to support training, learning, and social interaction activities of athletes, so that it is expected to be able to improve the quality of life as well as the achievements of the residents, as well as contribute to environmental sustainability.
