dc.description.abstractBackground: The movie Pinocchio released in 2022 directed by Robert Zemeckis is a modern adaptation of a classic story with moral messages and character learning values. This suggests the importance of understanding how the main characters in the movie are shaped to convey these messages. Purpose: This study aims to describe the portrayal of the main character of Pinocchio and analyze the traits and moral values displayed. Methods: I used is descriptive qualitative with content analysis techniques of scenes, dialog, watching movies and interactions involving the main character. Results: The results show that Pinocchio is portrayed as innocent, curious, kind, and determined, but also naive and easily influenced by his surroundings. Conclusion: Pinocchio's character in this movie reflects the process of learning and developing identity through life experiences, and conveys moral messages about honesty, courage, and the importance of being yourself.en_US
