dc.description.abstractAbstract This study discusses social injustice in Khairani Hasan's novel Garis Luka using a and literary sociology approach. This study aims to identify forms of social injustice and analyze how the support the delivery of social criticism. The main character, Agra, is portrayed as a teenager experiencing psychological pressure due to family expectations,social discrimination, and unfair comparisons. The forms of injustice found in this novel include stereotypes, marginalization, subordination, and domination. Data was collected through literature review and analyzed qualitatively using. The results of the study show that this novel conveys strong social criticism through its narrative structure, characters, and conflicts that are constructed realistically. Garis Luka not only reflects social reality but also serves as a medium for criticism of authoritarian parenting patterns and social systems that suppress individual freedom. This research emphasizes that literature plays an important role in voicing social inequalities that are often overlooked.en_US
