Ministry of Health data for 2023 shows an increase in infant mortality cases, where the Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in Indonesia in 2023 reached around 29,945 cases. This study aims to analyze the influence of antenatal and prenatal, intranatal, infectious and perinatal factors, diarrhea and pneumonia on infant mortality in Indonesia, by placing LBW as a mediating variable based on Ministry of Health data in 2023. This study is quantitative in nature, the data was taken from the Indonesian Health Profile in 2023 published by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. Data were analyzed and processed by path analysis. The results showed that antenatal & prenatal factors through LBW factors had a significant indirect effect on infant mortality. Antenatal & prenatal factors and low birth weight factors have a significant direct influence on infant mortality. The F-test results in both substructures showed that all variables of antenatal & prenatal, intranatal, infection and perintal, pneumonia, diarrhea, and low birth weight factors simultaneously had a significant effect on infant mortality although not all variables had a partial effect.en_US
