The phenomenon of dynasty politics in the Philippines is something that often occurs in the country. There are two levels of Philippine dynasty politics, namely national dynasty politics and local dynasty politics. National dynasty politics is a group of families who have held the positions of President and Vice President and re-place their families in those positions, while local dynasty politics is a group of families who control a certain area and hold positions such as Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Governor, Deputy Governor, and Member of the House of Representatives.
