This study aims to examine the role of grit in the psychological well-being of Psychology students at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), class of 2021, who are currently writing their theses. The sample consisted of 135 students selected using simple random sampling. The instruments used in this study were the Grit Scale developed by Edwina & Vivekananda (2017), and Ryff’s Psychological Well-Being Scale adapted by Triwahyuni & Prasetio (2021). Data were analyzed using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The results showed that grit has a positive and significant role in psychological well-being, contributing 65,3% (R Square = 0,653), while the remaining variance is presumed to be influenced by other factors not controlled in this study. These findings indicate that developing grit among students is important for enhancing their psychological well-being.en_US
