Analisis Daya Saing Ekspor Kakao (Coklat) Indonesia Di Pasar Internasional

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the competitiveness of Indonesian cocoa (chocolate) exports in the international market and examine the factors that influence the competitiveness of Indonesian cocoa (chocolate) exports in the international market. This type of research is quantitative. This study uses documentation data in the form of time series data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics, UN Comtrade and Trademap. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the competitiveness of Indonesian cocoa is at a low level compared to other countries such as Ivory Coast, Ghana, Cameroon, and Nigeria. Export volume, export prices and exchange rates partially have a positive and significant effect on the competitiveness of cocoa exports and Export volume, export prices and exchange rates simultaneously have an effect on export competitiveness of 99.7%, while the remaining 0.3% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
