Design Of Temperature and Weight Measuring Instruments Using GY-906 Sensors and Internet Of Things (Iot) Based Load Cells
Abstract
he advancement of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has opened up
significant opportunities in developing more efficient and user-friendly health
monitoring devices. This study aims to design and implement a tool capable of
simultaneously measuring body temperature and body weight. The device utilizes
the GY-906 sensor for non-contact temperature measurement and a load cell sensor
for weight detection. Measurement data is transmitted in real-time via an internet
connection and displayed on a web-based platform, enabling remote monitoring by
users or medical personnel. The system is controlled by an IoT-based
microcontroller integrated with a Wi-Fi module to support data acquisition and
transmission processes. Test results indicate that the device can provide accurate
measurements with deviations that remain within acceptable tolerance limits. This
tool is expected to serve as an effective solution for continuous and digital
monitoring of physical conditions.
