Perancangan Sistem Informasi Laundry Berbasis Web Pada Laundry Diana Menggunakan Php Dan Mysql

Abstract

Background: The laundry service sector, particularly among small businesses, still largely relies on manual record-keeping, leading to a higher risk of errors and delays in service. As the demand for efficiency and digital transformation increases, an information technology-based solution is required to support operational improvements. Objective: This study aims to design and implement a web-based information system to enhance data management, transaction recording, laundry status tracking, and operational reporting at Laundry Diana. Methods: The methods used include direct observation, interviews, and system testing. The system was developed using PHP and MySQL, following the Waterfall development model. Key features include role-based login (Admin, manager, customer), service ordering, data management, and transaction report generation. Results: The implementation of the system resulted in improved operational efficiency, reduced recording errors, and increased transparency and customer satisfaction. Laundry management processes became more structured and well-documented. Conclusion: The web-based information system effectively supports the digital transformation of laundry services and serves as a potential model for adoption by other small to medium-sized laundry businesses aiming to enhance their competitiveness and service quality.
