Perspektif Gen Z Tentang Dragon Plate Sebagai Destinasi Wisata Di Kabupaten Langkat

Abstract

Dragon Plate is a nature-based tourist destination located in Tanjung Gunung Village, Sei Bingai Subdistrict, Langkat Regency. This site offers a cool atmosphere, aesthetic photo spots, camping areas, and facilities such as a café and relaxing spaces that attract the attention of Generation Z. Gen Z's close relationship with social media and preference for visual experiences make Dragon Plate highly relevant to current tourism trends.This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation conducted directly at the Dragon Plate tourist site.The findings indicate that visual appeal, facility comfort, and social media promotion significantly influence Gen Z’s interest and perception. In addition, friendly service, environmental cleanliness, and active interaction between management and visitors are key factors in creating a positive tourism experience. Dragon Plate has great potential as a favorite tourist destination for Gen Z, as it offers an Instagrammable, comfortable experience that aligns with today’s digital lifestyle. The active role of the management in handling operations and providing service is essential to the success of this tourist attraction.
