Background: Dropping out of school is a recurring problem in education and is important to prevent as it has a direct impact on the progress of a country.
Objectives: This study aims to analyze and monitor data on school dropout rates in Indonesia for the 2021-2024 period in a systematic and statistically-based manner.
Methods: The study was conducted by taking data on school dropout rates from 2021 to 2024 for 38 provinces in Indonesia as a sample.is a problem-solving technique used to monitor, control, analyze, manage, and improve products and processes using statistical methods.
Results: After processing the data using the average and range control maps, the results of the X ̅ control map are 2006,7 (BKA = 2693,53; BKB = 1373,86), the R (Range) control map obtained 868,08 (BKA = 1980,95; BKB = 0) there are still areas that are outside the control limits, which means that the dropout rate in Indonesia is not yet within the control limits.
Conclusion: Data that are outside the control limits are in the provinces of West Java, Central Java, East Java, North Sumatra, South Sumatra, South Sulawesi.
