The background reveals that female DV victims often choose silence due to social fear, economic dependence, and misinterpretation of religious teachings, compounded by gender dynamics and male dominance. The aim of this study is to analyze the communications strategies used by women in dealing with DV, and to identify the communication model adopted. Using a critical paradigm and a qualitative approach, this search applies interpersonal communication theory, Muted Group theory, the concept of self-disclosure, and gender theory. Five main informants were involved , supported by source triangulation form a psychologist and the head of the Regional Technical Implementation Unite of Women Empowerment and Child Protection. Findings show that DV victims tend to maintain their marriages and refrain from reporting abuse due to normalization of violence, social stigma, and repeated persuasion form their partners. This research introduces a new model communication called The Empower Voice Model, comprising six elements: Silence of Voice, Survival Response, Turning Point, Voice Awakening and Empowerment, Environmental Response, and Repetitive Cycle. This model illustrates that support systems can assist women in breaking the cycle of violence. In conclusion, it is crucial to empower women in dealing with domestic violence, foster harmonious, family dynamics, and raise community awareness.
