This study aims to analyze and empirically examine the influence of peer-to peer (P2P) lending, e-commerce, e-payment, and digital literacy on the performance of micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in Medan City, mediated by financial literacy. The research adopts a Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach based on Partial least Squares (PLS). PL is a component-based or variance-based SEM model. A descriptive quantitative approach was used, with data collected through questionnaires and interviews. Both primary and secondar data sources were utilized. The sample consisted of 95 MSE actors under the guidance of the Medan City Government, selected from a population of 2019 MSEs. The analysis was conducted using SmartPLS 4 software, which has the advantage of being able to analyze complex inter-variable relationships. The results of the study show that, directly, the variables P2P lending, e commerce, and digital literacy do not have a significant effect on MSE performance, while e-payment has a positive and significant effect. Indirectly, financial literacy is found to mediate the positive relationship between digital literacy and MSE performance, but it does not mediate the relationship between P2P lending, e commerce, and e-payment with MSE performance. These findings imply the need for updated strategies by stakeholders such as the Medan City Government to further encourage the implementation of digitalization among local MSEs as a means to improve their performance.en_US
